Path of Light - Safe Nights for Villagers

Many villages located around the sacred Shatrunjay Hills face unique challenges after sunset. Poorly lit streets, remote village corners, and proximity to wildlife habitats often made night-time movement unsafe. Incidents involving wild animals such as leopards were a real concern, and the lack of proper lighting especially restricted the mobility of women, children, and the elderly.

Understanding the urgent need for safety and accessibility, Shatrunjay Yuvak Mandal undertook a comprehensive initiative to illuminate village roads and critical junctions. Each village was personally surveyed, strategic locations were identified, and street lights were installed where they were needed the most.

A Light Beyond Visibility

What makes this initiative truly unique is its value-driven approach. Every street light pole carries:
