Mobile Clinic - Delivering Medical Care to Remote Villages

An Initiative by Shatrunjay Yuvak Mandal

During extensive village visits, Shatrunjay Yuvak Mandal observed that healthcare challenges extended far beyond a handful of villages. Across the region, many rural communities lacked nearby medical facilities, forcing residents to either travel long distances or delay treatment until conditions worsened.

To address this widespread issue, the Mandal launched a Mobile Clinic—a fully equipped medical service designed to reach multiple villages efficiently. In late 2023, a dedicated ambulance was inaugurated, enabling the clinic to cover 12–14 villages in a single rotation and deliver timely healthcare services.

The Mobile Clinic provides completely free medical care, including doctor consultations, health check-ups, and essential medicines, ensuring that no individual is denied treatment due to financial constraints. Healthcare is delivered directly at the village level, making it accessible, affordable, and immediate.
